The Russian Museum, opened in 1898, was the first state museum in our country dedicated  to Russian fine art. Its main building occupies the elegant  Michailovsky palace situated on the  Arts Square. During the tour you will also visit Benois wing, a part of the museum that houses a collection of XX century Russian art.
