When you come to any other country you try to taste some local food. I’m sure you have heard about “blinis” – the famous Russian pancakes , ‘shi” cabbage soup, “pelmeni” or even “holodets”. But you can try them everywhere in Russia. Luckily there are some tasty things that are more specific for Saint-Petersburg. For me №1 is chocolate made by Krupskaya factory. They have a lot of different chocolate, but my favorite sort is called «Особый» (Osobiy) that means «Special” in English.. This chocolate has some salt in it so you can easily tell it apart from other standard types. It’s very popular and is sold practically in any foodstore.
